It is a delight to play with

Just a line to say that I have got my cello bow back and what a wonderful job you have done re-hairing it. It is a delight to play with. My father had this made for me back in 1972 and I remember going to Mr Cocker's little workshop in has back garden to see him work. I have used this bow to get through all 8 music grades, played in umpteen orchestras and many concerts over the years. In later Life my cello was put away as other things took over my spare time (work, families, etc). I moved to France 4 years ago and decided to start playing again this year (I am now 64). The bow was in need of some serious repair and I wasn't so sure I wanted to give it to a French Luthier - language issues for one - my French is poor at best. Anyhow, finding your website and making the arrangements that we did worked out perfectly. Will you please pass on my thanks to whoever performed the great work?   Kindest regards Mark

Bridgewood & Neitzert is my favourite violin dealer/maintenance shop in London. I've always found the staff to be friendly and helpful, as well as the owners, who are usually also somewhere close at hand to help. The only down side of visiting the shop is of being surrounded by so many tantalisingly amazing looking instruments. Trustworthy and efficient, I have used this shop for decades. At first for musical accessories and bow re-hairing, then for a major repair on my old bass. They were fantastic! I had a number of issues with my cello fingerboard, tailpiece and bridge which needed urgent attention. Having entrusted a previous instrument to B&N with excellent results I had no hesitation in going back to have these problems resolved. Gary’s amazing new veneered fingerboard and Joe’s new bridge have vastly improved the sound, feel and look of my piccolo cello. Enormously grateful!

Over the years they have looked after my instruments magnificently, from supplying an unending stream of gut strings to minor and major repairs.
