Ludivine is a talented young maker and a graduate of the famous Newark School of violin making in 2020.
After graduation, she worked for several violin workshops in the Netherlands, a year later she returned to the UK and worked at Guivier's in London as a restorer and managing the set-up department.
Recently she moved back to Newark and opened her own workshop where she dedicates her time to making, set up, and repairs for different workshops in London and the UK such as Florian Leonhard, Philip Brown, among others.
She also works closely with musicians on commissions.
During her studies, Ludivine received several awards and distinctions.
In 2019, she received the Vocation Prize from the "Fondation Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet" for her cello ( listed on this website ), which awarded her for her dedication and craftsmanship.
While graduating, she received the Colin Garrett prize which was awarded to the most outstanding student of the course.
Later, in 2021, Ludivine was selected to be part of the first Women In Lutherie Fellowship where she received the support of a mentor in the trade."
Based on 1710 Antonio Stradivari's “Gore-Booth” and built on the B mold form. The front was built using old wide-grain spruce cut in 1980 from France.
This cello won Fondation Marcel-Bleustein Blanchet for its craftsmanship.
The back in two pieces of English poplar, the ribs of chestnut, and showing light medium curl. The front in two pieces of spruce of medium-wide grain in the centre becomming finer towards the flanks. The oil varnish of a rich, dark red-brown colour on an amber ground.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
For international returns, including those from the European Union and other parts of the world, it is important to use a duty-paid service when shipping back items. Any returns sent via a duty unpaid option will not be accepted. It is recommended to pack the items securely, removing the delivery label but using the original packaging if possible. Please note that we do not cover the costs for returns, so it is your responsibility to use a suitable international tracked service.

REFUNDS
